The Montessori Method of Education was founded in 1907 by Dr. Maria Montessori, the first woman Italian doctor. She observed how children learned and developed her own method of education. In Montessori schools are given the freedom to grow and develop at their own rate and level. Each child has an individualized plan and the child guides his or her own learning.
The Montessori Bilingual Academy was founded in 1989 by two Montessori trained teachers Nedra Kharrat and Duane Adams. Before founding the MBA they worked for many years in another Montessori elementary and preschool. Since the beginning, MBA has prided itself on providing high quality education in an academic environment that will allow each child reach its full potential.
